DID YOU ASKED WHY YOU WOULD START LOOKING UP INFORMATION ON YOUR FAMILY HISTORY?

 Let’s start by saying that some families know a lot about their family history and other do not.

 

Did you ever wonder where you would go and get the information about your family history?

 

Some of this information will come from your family member that are still living and other information will come from the records of the dead.

 

You can go and see if you can find old news paper clipping that was kept by your family.

Here what happen when you go look for information:

You DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU can find and

See at a cemetery.

 

 

One day back in 2001 my mom, my niece and I went to worthern cemetery while we were checking on WHERE EVERYONE WAS BURIED AT. We came up on a tombstone and this is what was written on it:

 

 

Remember me as you pass by,

As you are now so once was I,

As I am now you soon shall be,

Prepare for death and follow me

I HAD A COUSIN THAT WROTE TO MY MOHTER SEVRAL YEARS BACK ASKING ABOUT INFORMATION ABOUT HIS FAMILY HISTORY.

 

MY GRANDMOTHER WANDA (Will) Stearns had started a family tree but it was never finished. I picked up where she left off. I started looking up information that my cousin asked for. But it did not stop there.

 

I continue looking up information on my family history.

 

You never know where your roots will start or where they may end.

 

I wonder if we actually know how many people created us.

 

When you start working and breaking it down by father side and mother side you start seeing that there a lot’s of people that created us.
